Alison has worked in the field of private client law for over 25 years, qualifying as a Legal Executive in 1988. She spent 18 years with a leading firm in Ipswich before joining the Probate Department of Bates Wells & Braithwaite in 1998.

She is a registered member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a member of solicitors for the elderly and specialises in administration of estates, will drafting (including wills to mitigate inheritance tax) and issues such as lasting powers of attorney and court of protection.

In her free time, Alison is a conservation and fundraising volunteer for the RSPB, and enjoys spending as much time as she can on her allotment.
