David is a partner of the firm and is head of the non-contentious team within the firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department where he continues to draw on his long experience as a solicitor working in corporate law and commercial law including commercial property. He and his department cover all mainstream areas from formations of companies and partnerships, through restructuring to disposals and acquisitions.

He is also the head of the Anglo-German legal team, having qualified as a lawyer in Germany in 1994. The firm does work for a number of German companies and firms who wish to trade in the U.K., including the preparation of terms and conditions, acquisition of premises and employment contracts and can also advise U.K. businesses which wish to expand into Germany. David and his team are also experienced in litigation for and against German companies.

In 2004, David formed the U.K. branch of the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein) which represents the interests of German lawyers practising in the U.K.
