Tim has been practising as a Solicitor for over 30 years. He joined Bates Wells & Braithwaite in 1991 when the firm of Dale Parkinson & McNeill was incorporated with Bates Wells & Braithwaite. He has experience of working as a sole practitioner and also for a large London firm. Tim also has been a member of numerous legal professional organisations throughout his career. As a result of this experience he has a wealth of knowledge in many varied areas of the law.
Tim was previously senior partner and head of Civil Litigation and Dispute resolution. He became a consultant with the firm in October 2006.
Tim has also played an active role in local life, including:
- Taking a Judical Review in the High Court regarding the issue of closure of Sudbury County Court in 1994.
- Running the Sudbury Duty Solicitor Scheme
- Secretary for Eastern Counties Rugby Union
- Secretary, President and Chairman of Sudbury Rugby Club (he is currently a Trustee)
